I [...] Here at Frilly and Funky, Linda has presented a challenge to ‘Follow Your Muse’. I decided to share a little project that I made two years ago. It was never my plan to share it, as I made it ‘just because’ and to please no one but myself. I came across it this past week [...] Hello again! I’m back with the second challenge of the day~ a mini album. You can see the series of assorted styles of mini albums HERE. They’re all wonderful, but I love pockets, so I took my cue from Melissa Phillip’s terrific video. I wanted my pockets a bit larger, so I made some in [...] I’ve been playing with some of my favorite components~ craft paper bags and glassine bags. I could work with these two elements for a year and not get bored! It seems the more I play with them, the more I discover they I can do.
I began by layering two glassine bags [...] I used to make bunches of mini albums, but haven’t created one for well over a year. Then I saw a thumbnail sketch on TSTR site as I was posting yesterdays’ card for their ‘Sweet Summer’ challenge #117 (you can visit the site HERE). Sassy#14, created a mini album. It must have stayed in my [...] The challenge this week is about four happy colors, cherry red, hydrangea blue, kiwi green and daffodil yellow. You can view the site here. I started working and this project took on a life of its’ own! I’m not even sure what I think about this result, but here it is!
There [...] There was snow in the high country yesterday, while there was rain here in the valley. This morning, there’s frost on the roofs and a heavy dose of fog! I’m bundled up (including fingerless gloves) and loving it. This time of year is invigorating and makes me so happy. I made a crockpot of chicken [...] |
