Hi there! I was asked to make some bright and cheerful Christmas cards for children, each one unique and for the group to have a unified look…just like the family! This project was limited by the need for an A2 size card, no bulky cards or bumpy surfaces. I used My Minds’ Eye, ’12 Days [...] You know from some recent postings that I’ve been glittering up storm. Well, today I found out about a Crafty Secrets challenge, using one of their products and glitter. Also, Dolce Stamps is having a metallic/shine challenge. I thought I would give it a whirl and came up with this card, having a certain someone [...] It’s not as if there isn’t a lengthy ‘to-do’ list on my desk, it’s just that I kept thinking of ways to apply the all-over glitter effect that I tried on Monday and had to do a few more! If you’re a crafter, I’m sure you know just what I mean! So early this morning [...] Yesterday, I drove down a street lined with Chinese Tallow trees. They’re one of the few varieties that have wonderful autumn color, here in ‘The Valley of the Sun.’ What a delight to see trees in autumn splendor and the image stuck with me. This morning, my hands were irresistibly drawn to this stamp set [...] It’s on the way. That wonderful holiday that focuses our thoughts on all the good in our lives. It’s a reason to gather loved ones together, share a good meal and each others company, with no thoughts of gifts except for the gift of ourselves. I love this holiday. I am renewed!
