an easter banner…

Hello Peeps…both human and the marshmallow kind!  The new challenge at My Artistic Adventures is about Easter.  I chose to make a banner for a friend who needs a little pick-me-up…

PaperPrimrose MAA1

Starting with Heather’s ‘Cream shabby Chic Victorian Vintage Medium Tag Bases’.  I printed them onto some heavy weight card stock and added little eyelets at the top corners. The sweet vintage images are from ‘Vintage Shabby Chic Easter Post Card Focals’ and edged with delightful glitter…

PaperPrimrose MAA2

Each tag has a different image, along with a variation of a ‘Spring Banners Curvy Flipped’.  They all coordinate so wonderfully!…

PaperPrimrose MAA3

Each one of the curvy banners holds a word of greeting, cut from the ‘Vintage Cream Tiny Letter Boxes’.  A button was adhered at the bottom of each tag and a large jump ring connects a frosted aqua, glass heart or a pink resin and bead charm…

PaperPrimrose MAA4

The banners were adhered to curve up from the tags, allowing some paper tulips and leaves to peek out…

PaperPrimrose MAA5

Luscious, full bows made from cream and pink striped ribbon, cover the functional, narrow ribbon that connects the tags.  I used a line of my favorite fabric adhesive (Beacon’s 3-In-1 Advanced Craft Glue) on the functional ribbon and pressed the pre-tied bows onto the adhesive.

I’m pleased with this happy Easter greeting that will deliver my message to a sweet friend.  I love that I was able to print out the tags, vintage Easter images, banners and tiny letters from my home printer.  Everything else on this banner came from my stash~

I will be entering this project in the following challenges;

Blessings and hugs,
