bright and bold birthday…

Hello dear blog friends.  I needed to make a card for a dear friend who just loves super bright and bold colors.  For me, that is a challenge, but one I really enjoyed!  These are such happy colors and so very different from the pastel and dusty shades that I love…

The lady whose birthday is later this week has had some very trying times and these colors are ‘can’t help but make you smile’, sort of colors!  I began by making a shaker element and using an atypical sentiment for the face of a birthday card.  Her truly awesome talents are just coming to light!…

I used an assortment of sequins and a patterned paper frame to set this colorful theme…

An assortment of bright ribbons look so good against that field of white…

The panel inside the card was stamped with ribbons and bows along with confetti.  What a lot of fun this little project turned out to be!  I will be participating in these challenges;

Sending you blessings and ((hugs)),

    Like you, I love soft, dusty colors so I though I was looking at the wrong blog, lol! Your friend will love this though, it’s a really beautiful bright and boldly colored card. Maybe one of these days I will try a shaker too! Happy New Year to you, Doris
