I began this project with a beautiful sheet of patterned paper from Maja Designs and the rosette die from Alterations.  I die cut 3 of the rosette strips which allowed me to get the circumference that I wanted (I wound up cutting off a portion of the third strip).  The edged were aged with some distress ink and I hot glued the rosette onto a scalloped circle of card stock that was coated in silver glitter…

A die cut pinecone and branch along with some vintage treasures in the form of berries covered in glass beads and some bright red stamens and snips of platinum glittered branches add to the wintery theme.  The label was die cut and lightly inked with the same distress ink as the rosette.  The sentiment was embossed with brown.  A small length of hand dyed seam binding repeated the pop of red on this otherwise neutral color palette.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your creation at the Frilly and Funkie challenge!

I’m entering this project into the ‘Craft Hoarders Anonymous’ challenge #21– Celebrate the Season, ending 12/14/14 and the ‘Really Reasonable Ribbon’ challenge #108- Tags, Tags, Tags with a ribbon or trim, ending 12/16/14.

Blessings and ((hugs)),
