I found an old stamp of a teacup and saucer that hadn’t see rubber in years!  I stamped it, fussy cut and colored the rose with Copics, adding some gilded accents with a metallic gold pen and ‘sugared’ the sugar cubes with white glitter…

A triple looped silk bow has a single pearl that dangles down.  I used a head pin and two jewelry pliers to quickly make this drop, though you can find them pre made at your local big box craft store.  The card base and the pink card stock come from this challenges sponsor, ‘Paper Temptress’.  The #80 white card base and the #60 pink card stock are of wonderful quality.  I would definitely recommend you check out the range of gorgeous papers that are on offer at reasonable prices!

Thank you for visiting~

Sending you Blessings and ((hugs)),

  • Well first of all, I would die for that fabulous cupcake in the inspiration photo, but barring that, let me just say that this card is DELIGHTFUL. Love that you took inspiration from the damask wallpaper, but as usual ALL of your details are fantastic. Sugary sugar cubes, pearl “steam,” (stroke of brilliance that was), and the precious little pearl drop all add such lovely texture and glimmer. This inspires me to go have some tea in a vintage teacup.

Pity there’s no cupcake handy. 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Rebecca!

  • Oh this is so elegant and so you! I can just see us taking tea together … Love the dangling pearl everything is just so pretty!

  • This is so gorgeous! I love your take on the photograph! Your damask pattern is really striking and your pearl heat waves coming out of the tea cup is just brilliant! Love it 🙂

  • Hi Rebecca, very beautiful DT card I like your combination of the black and the pink a lot. Greetings from Veerle
