swirling pinwheels…

Hello and welcome!  Today I am sharing a card made from one of the new IBS stamp sets, released this month, Swirling Pinwheels.  I decided to create a flat card to fit inside a standard A2 envelope without any extra padding needed…

I used a fun and favorite combination of bright colors, since not all the recipients of my cards are fans of my beloved, soft pastels 😉  I cut out three, quick-to-make masks of each of the pinwheels, using post-it notes.  With only a portion of each pinwheel mask having adhesive, it worked just fine and the paper is thin enough to allow you to stamp right up against the edge of the mask, but is thick enough that it doesn’t allow the ink to bleed through…

I used some enamel dots that I made from this tutorial.  It enabled me to achieve an excellent color match and to create the sizes I desired.

There are so many quick and simple ways to use this stamp set!  I will be back with another version tomorrow!!

Sending you blessings and ((hugs)),
