vintage christmas…

Hello there~ The new challenge at Vintage Udfordring is to create a card or project for Christmas, in vintage style.  I created this circular easel card with a digital image I found on the internet…

The card base is a lovely, shimmery white and the snowflakes and sentiment tag are all cut from white glitter paper.  Behind the image, there is a slightly folded panel of white cheesecloth, sheet music, a doily and a paper I made with a snowflake pattern created with glimmer mist…

There are layers of different snowflakes.  Accents of ‘ice stickles’, silver lined glass beads and white shimmer paint are applied to edges and in areas, I clustered the silver beads as accents…

The base circle is embellished with more glittery snowflakes and a die cut tag…

Clusters of punched fir branches made of vellum, soften opposite corners of the image and a Sakura fine glitter pen was used to emphasis the snowflakes falling in the vintage image.  Sprays of icy blue crystals arch over one side of the card. I love the accent of those icy blue crystals….  Now that I’m sitting in a warm place, it makes me wax nostalgic about the beauties of winter.  They are many, but I also love warm feet 😉

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you will enter your creation in the Vintage Udfordring challenge.  I will also be entering this card in the Sugar Creek Hollow vintage challenge.
