build a snowman…

Hi there~ I’m back with another new stamp set by Inspired By Stamping, called ‘Build A Snowman’.  This is one of those super versatile and timeless stamp sets that allows you to build-it-yourself with stamps.  It’s fun for the big kid in each of us!  Here’s my take on it…

This is a simple tri-fold card.  The first photo shows the closed  card, displaying three layers.  On top is the snow globe.  The sentiment is from the new ‘Holiday Sentiment’ set…

The second layer is the snowman.  The body of the snowman was stamped with black ink onto white glitter paper and cut out before being embellished with some of the stamping choices…

The third layer is the background, embellished with some punched snowflakes and circles (the white glitter paper again)…

This last photo shows the back of the card when both wings are opened.  I love snow globes and I like the playful aspect of this card!

If you have little ones in your life, this set would be my suggestion for an afternoon (or two) of joyful, kid card making. A lineup of ink pads, each stamp already adhered to a stamping block and lots of precut card panels (to be adhered to card bases later) would make this a memorable experience for children and adults alike!

Think about making memories for those around you.  There’s nothing like participating to inscribe a memory in the heart and mind…

((hugs))

Rebecca
