My talented teammate Lenet has given us this gorgeous inspiration photo to work from this week at The Shabby Tea Room. She’s asking us to create with pink, blue, white or cream and to make it a ‘Happy Birthday’ card or project…
I just love the shades of blue and pink in this photo…so full of energy and spring! ..
The process began by selecting the blue and pink papers…I needed just the right shades and intensities of colors. Then I selected the sentiment from one of my favorite Paper Sweeties stamp collections…
I began choosing some dies to layer. It’s really fun to layer die cuts, and so easy. Some die cut swirls and leaves along with some fabric flowers…
Think about cutting some dies apart to rearrange them. Of course, some pearls made their way onto this card as lovely exclamation points and to balance the panel that is placed below the center of the card. Simple, but effective I think.
Now it’s off to make some dinner…
*Hugs* to you,
Rebecca
