waltzing mouse challenge 118…

I took a look at the Waltzing Mouse challenge last night and went right to work making a card for this sketch challenge…

The first thing I did was to use a favorite die cut to make the curve…

A bit of ‘Lumiere’ (well named), in a beautiful pearl white, was smooshed (technical art term) with a finger into/onto the die cut.  It takes on the look of antique white gold on dark paper….

Some hand dyed seam binding that holds a vintage trinket~ sigh…

and one of my favorite ‘thank you’ stamps (thank you Waltzing Mouse) because of it’s versatile and stylish typeface.  It is embossed with pewter embossing powder and swiped with white distress stain.  In real life, it shows out very clearly, with the patina of age…much more than it’s 25 minutes!

Hope your day is wonderful and brings you the opportunity to make someone smile!  Thanks for taking a few moments to stop by~

*Hugs,

Rebecca
