The November/December issue is out! I was so very happy to win their Annual Stamping Royalty contest for 2012 and they have printed the winners (15 winners each year) and a single card, of the five made by each of us. It’s currently on sale at your favorite scrapbooking or crafts shop…
My winning card is on page 78! While this isn’t my first publication, it is a very special award for me (you can see the list of publications by clicking on the tab at the right side). At the time I entered the contest, I had just decided to take the leap of making my living with papercrafting. Both the little voice in my head along with the quizzical stares of friends, wondering if I had gone off the deep end had me second guessing my decision. Mind you, I still went at it ‘hammer and tong’ every day! When I opened the email announcing this win, it was exactly the right confirmation at the right time. I have since told that little voice to ‘shut it’! So, here’s the winning card…
I had fun playing with stamp sets, inks, masking and overstamping. A touch of embossing to get the sentiment to stand out in a softer way…
