The sweet and talented Miss Starr has selected a gorgeous photo to inspire us in a challenge called ‘Beautiful Romance’. She is asking that we make our card or project with pink, green and white, including lace and a rose. What a wonderful starting place!!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, with the accent on awareness!!! I created a special box using a brand new template from My Time Made Easy. It arrived in my mailbox (email that is), complete with carefully illustrated directions and a digital download for some decorative paper to go with this project…
It is a three dimensional box, with a removable lid…
I trimmed the sides of the lid with some pleated ribbon and some yummy lace…
and used the digital paper to line the inside. This makes a beautiful and thoughtful presentation box.
Since it’s October, and early detection saves lives, call your nearest and dearest and remind them to conduct their monthly self examinations and to schedule their yearly mammogram if they haven’t already done it. When we take care of ourselves, then we can care for all the people around us!
