It felt so good to get back to one of my favorite challenges today…Vintage Udfordring in Scandanavia. Denmark to be precise! This weeks’ challenge is to make an easel card with a vintage feel. My fingers did a ‘happy dance’ on the keyboard! “2(w+3*-#8^*l=” and after I was done dancing, here’s what I came up with…
As much as I LOVE color, I very much enjoyed working a neutral palette today. It allowed me to integrate some treasured bits of vintage materials into the piece…
and an arch at the top. If you follow my work, you know that I love arches too! A new heart charm (with a vintage finish) and a resin key have been attached to the arch with jump rings. Some white flowers that were pressed a few years ago, have taken on a wonderfully aged effect…perfect for this card!
and vintage buttons…and antique crocheted irish lace…and my most treasured scraps of handmade laces…love, love, love it all!
Thanks so much for visiting and if you have a moment, I would so love for you to leave a comment~ the other thing I love, is getting to know the people visiting my blog!
