I am so glad that CR84FN has a two week challenge! This past week was spent with my family, telling stories of our mother and our family and sharing our emotions. There is more grieving to come, but today, the need to create was overwhelming and these inspirations were just perfect…
I began with my new pad of papers called ‘A Ladies Diary’. From there, the project took on a life of it’s own! Some Copics to tweak the colors in the patterned papers and some favorite dies, minus my typical explosion of dimensional flowers came together into a new ‘favorite’, if only for today!!!
A standard, folded card flew out the window, to be replaced by this unusual construction that I saw in a Magnolia magazine while waiting in line to check out of Joanne’s about 4 weeks ago. It must have been percolating in my brain!
I’m loving this color combination and the vintage images of elegant women and men in this new collection by Graphic 45. I’m going to finish this post and head on over to CR84FN to see the wonderful creations that have been linked up.
