just white…

This project is all white… with just the tiniest touch of color near the sentiment. City Crafter Challenge Blog has a ‘Solid as a Rock’ challenge, asking for solid papers, with other mediums and embellishments open for choice.  I love my dies and all the frames and embellishments they make.  Today, they are center stage!

What’s so neat about this project is that a group of people who are not crafters, can do most, if not all of this project with just a bit of instruction and guidance!  There may even be an undiscovered crafter who would like to stamp and color the sentiment circle!  An enthusiastic group could assemble all the cut components! The nearly finished card could be passed back to a group who can be shown how to add pearls.  This would make for a very productive and FUN afternoon for a group of women!

I love the ‘wedding cake’ appearance all these layers make, and can see this idea working very well for the actual wedding invitation, a new baby card, anniversary, sweet sixteen (perhaps in neon brights) and on and on!

*Hugs*

  • Rebecca – this is gorgeous! I love all the white layers and how you arranged them…and you are right it would be an easy project for a group to assemble. I am thinking more and more about doing a class up at my son’s school and if I made kits of the same card it could work really well! Thanks for the inspiration! I just love your blog!!! :)
