for the record…

I started this project with the sentiment stamp that I knew I wanted to use and the color inspiration from CR84FN.  You can visit their site HERE.

A color combination of grape, green and blue… so many ways to work this one! Bold, softer or somewhere in between?

My next inspiration was a 6 x 6 paper collection from Basic Grey and a doily that I picked up from our table the last time my husband and I ate out at a restaurant.  I saved it because I thought it’s pattern was particularly pretty.

I’m going to keep this post short, as it’s been a really hot day- 110 and 25% humidity, high compared to our usual single digit humidity!  Even though I exercised and ran errands early in the morning, just going in and out knocked the stuffing out of me!  I’m going to turn in early tonight.

*Hugs*

Rebecca

  • This is gorgeous! Love the way you used the colors to make your elegant and beautiful card!

It was cloudy and dreary half the day here in Seattle. I can’t imagine the heat that you are going through – when I go to Eastern Washington to visit Stuart’s parents it is hot like that – though not with the humidity at 25%!! I grew up in Illinois and I don’t miss the heat and humidity in the summer…just the sun! Take care!

Here in the Netherlands it’s raining most of the time …so no happy summer.. I love the sun its so much better for the rheumatisme ..makes people so much happier all around.
Your 25% humidity doesn’t sound nice either with high temp. ……take care!
