wherever you go…

I just love the colors of current Embellish Blog color trends challenge.  It’s also mixing in dry embossing into the challenge, so it was fun to come up with this…

The background panel is dry embossed and then swiped with distress ink.  I love the look of it, but there’s something a bit different to this card… I won’t tell you just yet.

Some of my hand dyed seam tape and paper flowers, also hand colored with die cut leaves…

Layers of die cuts to frame a sentiment dear to my heart along with a touch of stamping on the tag…

Inside the card there’s a pocket on the left with a punched edge tag.  On the right, there’s another punched edge and a large tag peeking out behind it!

Large enough for a photo or, with the addition of a white panel, it would make a great spot for a lengthy, heartfelt message.

A vintage image on a repeat die cut used on the front of this card.. this time with a mulberry purple oval behind it.

Well, have you guessed yet?  I’ve used a white paper bag as the base of this card!  I’ve made albums with bags before, but never thought of using one for a card!

My own challenge is making and editing videos.  This will be one of those projects, so keep an eye open!

*Hugs*

Rebecca
