The challenge this week is about four happy colors, cherry red, hydrangea blue, kiwi green and daffodil yellow. You can view the site here. I started working and this project took on a life of its’ own! I’m not even sure what I think about this result, but here it is!
There is a book (one signature of 5 sheets=10 pages) within this cover. There will be photos and text inserted, to thank someone very special.
Thought you might be tempted to play along if you take a peek at the inspiration photo!
I’ve lots more to do today, so I’m off and away! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
*Hugs*
Rebecca

Oh my goodness!!! I know what I think of your project! It’s absolutely fantastic! I love the cluster of flowers and the tag and that bit of ric rak trim and the way you used the colors! It’s really gorgeous!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card….that’s what I think of it. Colorful, original and very rich in its appeal to me.
Are these cards for sale?
You are just soooo creative. How do you think of and create these beautiful cards?
The flowers you made and the way you arranged them on your book cover is wonderful. The recipient of it is sure to treasure it. Blessings!
Hello Rebecca! It’s so good to see you playing with us at The Play Date Cafe.
Those handmade flowers are nothing short of amazing, girl. You really punched up the hues and made this project shine! Thanks so much for playing with us.
Your card is beautiful Rebecca! Congratulations.
This mini-album is exquisite. You changed the impact of those four colors by grounding them with black. The cover looks like a tole (folk) painting coming to life.
Your compositions are just fabulous. (Mentally I leave a comment on each; you probably haven’t seen all those!) Your blog is like a birthday present I get to open on a regular basis. As always, thank you so much for sharing.
