ribbon reel challenge #25…

Yup, it’s another challenge that I’ve found!  The site had the word ‘ribbon’ in its’ title so I was hooked before I saw anything else.  Sighhhh.. I do love ribbons. You can visit the Ribbon Reel Challenge blog here.  Their challenge is about Easter/Spring and the color pale blue.

Love the combination!  Feathers, while beautiful, make me sneeze and since I’ve been in a card making frenzy, it’s time for something different.  In addition to loving cards, pale blues, ribbons and a very long list of other things, I love little boxes.  I started with a kraft box I found at Hobby Lobby and then went to town…

I reached for a tiny Martha Stewart doily, some tiny tags that were thrown into my ‘leftover treasures’ pile, an old postage stamp, a teensy clothes pin, some millinery flowers, aqua and white bakers twine and some hand dyed seam binding.  Voila! I liked the kraft with the soft blues and white, so I left it as is.

It was quick and easy and makes me smile!  I know the little tag is postage stamped with a December date…that’s to remind me of just how long these little treasures have been waiting to be used 😉

Thank you for your sweet comments.  I appreciate them so much!

*Hugs*

Rebecca
