Something different after the strong holiday colors and wedged in between the vibrant Valentines’ palettes..
and you can get there, from HERE. I do love pinecones, burlap, bark and moss so this is a good starting point.
The card base is made of kraft paper that’s the color of burlap, but insists on turning golden when photographed! I used the Vintage Tag stamp from Memory Box along with a sentiment from Waltzing Mouse, both stamped with Early Espresso Ink from Stampin Up.
The ginko leaves (both die and stamps) are from Harvest Berries by Papertrey Ink. The card stocks, inks, linen twine, key charm and wood patterned paper are all Stampin Up. It doesn’t show in the photo, but I put the SU designer paper through the die cut machine with the wood impression plate from PTI.
I used a small chipboard bird from Melody Ross, painting it first with grey acrylic paint and then a coat of picket fence Distress Crackle Paint by ranger.
Some cheesecloth that I tea dyed in the past was used under the tag for some interesting texture.
Hope your weekend is lovely. I’m off to create some projects that are calling my name.

Your card ‘speaks’ to me. I love the soft palette, tag, twine, cheesecloth, crackled bird, key and the rest. I’ve never come across that quote before, but it’s fantastic. Just beautiful!
